Mission Trip 2014
Save the dates!!! June 29-July 5, 2014 are the dates for our 7th annual cross-generational mission trip to Marion, Virginia. Each year, a group of approximately 25-30 teenagers and adults travel together to beautiful Appalachia for a week of serving God’s people through home rehabilitation projects. Staying at the beautiful Hungry Mother Lutheran Retreat Center nestled between the wooded mountainsides of the Jefferson National Forest and the calm serenity of the Hungry Mother State Park, each morning begins with meaningful devotions and each evening ends around the fireplace with Bible Study, group sharing, and worship. The trip is open to all youth (having completed 8th grade and above) and adults. An informational tri-fold with registration form included is available in the church office and on the website CLICK HERE Registration form is due by Sunday, April 20th. Come and serve Christ by serving Christ’s people in Appalachia!
