Disciples at St. John’s are generous, including financially. In this one-session class, led by Pastor Ryan, we will celebrate the Holy Spirit’s work inspiring generosity, reflect on generosity as a spiritual discipline, and share information about the current financial status of St. John’s in preparation for our Annual Meeting on June 1.
MAY 11 | MENTAL HEALTH IN A SICK WORLD
May is Mental Health Awareness Month and May 11 is Good Shepherd Sunday, when we highlight the work of Lutheran Social Services of IL (LSSI). This one-session class, led by Pastor Linda, will explore current issues in mental health, and the mental health services offered by LSSI. All disciples (teenagers included) are invited and encouraged to attend. Below is a link to the reading materials.

DLT LUNCH GROUP OF ST. JOHN’S
The DLT (Disciples Lunching Together) Lunch Group of St. Johns meets at LePeep on the second Wednesday of each month. To ensure seating and service, please contact Roy Booker at by 4:30 p.m. on Monday before we meet. We look forward to sharing Breakfast or Brunch and fellowship with you!
1st & 3rd wednesdays // 3:00 p.m.
Bitsy Knepler, Memorial Hospital Bereavement Services Coordinator, will lead the Bereavement Support Group that meets on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, from 3:00-4:00 p.m. in the Adult Meeting Room. The meetings are open to anyone in the community who has lost a loved one. While we may grieve many kinds of losses, this gathering is for those who have lost a loved one.
Are you or is someone you know struggling with divorce or separation? Divorce Care is a 13-week support group designed for those who are going through or have been through divorce/separation.
