Each fall, our St. John’s Endowment Fund awards ministry grants in three areas: capital improvements at St. John’s, local and community outreach, and missional ministries of the ELCA. This year, a total of $20,000.27 has been awarded to the following recipients. Thank you to all who submitted applications!

Special thanks to all those whose direct gifts and estate gifts to our St. John’s Eagle Endowment Fund make possible these annual ministry grants.

Application for St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Endowment Funds shall be submitted in writing using the printed form, or below electronic form. Applications shall be reviewed by the Endowment Fund Committee.

Funds will be distributed only to non-profit groups, agencies, and organizations or individuals. Funds will only be approved for projects that are deemed by the Endowment Fund Committee, as guided by the St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Eagle Endowment Fund by-laws, to have qualities which concur with the mission of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.

The Mission of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church is
to be and make disciples for Christ in response to God’s grace.

Individuals applying should provide one or more letters of reference from a schoolteacher, principal, church member, community member, or employer, etc. Agencies or groups applying should include an endorsement letter from the group lead of the applying entity.
