Bitsy Knepler, Memorial Hospital Bereavement Services Coordinator, will lead the Bereavement Support Group that meets on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, from 3:00-4:00 p.m. in the Meeting Room. The meetings are open to anyone in the community who has lost a loved one. While we may grieve many kinds of losses, this gathering is for those who have lost a loved one.

Adults and Children in 9th grade and up are invited to join our Chancel Choir! They sing the 2nd & 4th Sundays each month.

Rehearsals begin on Thursday, August 28.

Put on your FUN SHOES (wear fun/wacky shoes/footwear!) and get ready to be Disciples in Motion on Rally day! There will be fun activities for all ages, including shoe decorating, a cake walk, shoe bingo/scavenger hunt, Time & Talent sheets, coloring pages, Sunday School registration, and more! 

DISCIPLES IN MOTION WALL 
Everyone will get a shoe cut-out when they come in and will be encouraged to answer: "As a Disciple at St. John's, what are you looking forward to?" and put it on the north wall of the Welcome Center. 

Our Nursery will be staffed 9:30-10:45am for 3 year olds and under! They will enjoy foot books and fun coloring pages!

TEE IT UP FORE THE KIDS

Join us for a day of golfing followed by a dinner as we raise money for St. John’s Lutheran Preschool and Compass for Kids. Registration is limited to 100 players.

$125 PER PLAYER | $100 HOLE SPONSORS 
Cost includes: 18 holes of golf, cart rental, sleeve of golf balls, lunch, dinner, 3 drink tickets, and entry into the following context holes: $10,000 hole-in-one, closest to the pin, move up hole, long drive, and putting contest. 

All proceeds will be donated to St. John’s Preschool and the Compass for Kids After School Program. The outing will include a silent auction, 50/50 raffle tickets, and more!

Back to School Bash with Dubois Elementary Families

Our Annual Back-to-School Bash will take place on Wednesday, August 6th from 5:00-6:00 p.m. We look forward to opening our doors to our friends from Dubois elementary as they “shop” for their school supplies and enjoy an ice cream sundae! Any disciples of St. John’s who are in need of supplies are also welcome to come “shop” for supplies.

We will are collecting backpacks and other school supplies for our friends at Dubois. You can drop off any supplies in the baskets found in the Welcome Center! Please refer to our supply list below to see what is needed! Lists can be found in the Welcome Center or the PLC Lobby. It is also on our website!

PLEASE PLACE ALL SCHOOL SUPPLIES IN THE WELCOME CENTER BY SUNDAY, AUGUST 3.
