St. John’s will be gathering nonperishable food for the Grace Food Pantry from November 7-22. Paper bags, along with suggested grocery lists, will be distributed October 31 and November 1. Please return bags to the Welcome Center by Sunday, November 22. 

Food insecurity continues to grow year after year in Springfield and the surrounding area. Grace Lutheran Food Pantry has seen its client numbers double over the past five years and is experiencing another 15 percent increase in clients served so far this year. The Pantry is on pace to serve nearly 12,000 households representing more than 30,000 individuals in 2026.
