Children and Family Ministry believes that parents are the best faith teachers their children will ever have! St. John's is dedicated to partnering with and equipping parents and caregivers to inspire children to know God’s love and grace. We aim to teach, model, and share Jesus Christ with all children and their families through worship, study, prayer, and service. We are better when we do life together!

All our volunteers receive a background check and must complete our Safeguarding God's Children volunteer class. This class equips leaders and assistants in best practices for interacting with and ministering to your children. We want to provide your children with a safe, caring environment at all times.

A staffed nursery is available during all four weekend worship services for children ages four and younger. The Nursery is also available during the Wednesday evening ministries and Thursday Choir rehearsals, as well as other special ministry events. The Nursery is located near the Parish Life Center Lobby across from the restrooms.

Upcoming Family Events

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 24, 5:30-7:00 P.M.

On October 24, our parking lot will be transformed into a kid’s Halloween paradise! Families and groups will deck-out their trunks in all kinds of themes, including Dr. Seuss, rock-n-roll, barnyard, and even Christmas! We will pass out all kinds of treats, including allergy-safe options. This is a fun and safe trick-or-treating event for families to celebrate together. Homemade chili and hot dogs will be served for dinner at our picnic tables under the tent. Sign up to host a trunk or volunteer with our team starting in October!

Meet at the Movies

All families are invited to come see the new Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch together as a St. John's group! We recommend purchasing tickets from AMC Showplace 12 ahead of time if possible.
