Join us for our Thanksgiving worship event at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 23. We will offer thanks for God’s many blessings, especially the gift of time spent together as a community of disciples. We will meet in the sanctuary for worship, and as true disciples in motion, we will make our way to the Welcome Center for an extension of our worship, and finally, we will conclude the evening in the Parish Life Center as we enjoy some delicious pie! Don’t miss this opportunity to receive grace, offer gratitude, and eat pie!

If you have a child entering 7th or 8th grade and missed the informational meeting on August 24, please contact Pastor Linda as soon as possible, so you and your child will be ready for the program year. Our classes will begin this month!

Students will meet with Pastor Linda and their small group leaders each week. 

Put on your FUN SHOES (wear fun/wacky shoes/footwear!) and get ready to be Disciples in Motion on Rally day! There will be fun activities for all ages, including shoe decorating, a cake walk, shoe bingo/scavenger hunt, Time & Talent sheets, coloring pages, Sunday School registration, and more! 

DISCIPLES IN MOTION WALL 
Everyone will get a shoe cut-out when they come in and will be encouraged to answer: "As a Disciple at St. John's, what are you looking forward to?" and put it on the north wall of the Welcome Center. 

Our Nursery will be staffed 9:30-10:45am for 3 year olds and under! They will enjoy foot books and fun coloring pages! 

ATTENTION 7TH GRADE PARENTS!

If your child is entering 7th grade this fall, they are eligible to begin confirmation classes in September. Pastor Linda and Amanda Lawler have sent letters to all the 7th graders that they know of. If you did not receive a letter or if you are new to St. John’s, and you are interested in enrolling your child in confirmation instruction, please contact Amanda Lawler as soon as possible, so you won’t miss the informational meeting in August!

LEAVING CHURCH AT 9:00 AM

All incoming 9th graders to outgoing 12th All graders are invited to join us for our annual 6 Flags Day! We will leave the church at 9:00 a.m. and go straight to the park. The cost is $50 a person which includes your ticket, transportation, and dinner on the way home. We ask that you provide money for lunch and any souvenirs your child might like. Have questions?
